Finding myself in New York on a business trip, I had no plans for entertainment - there was barely enough time for work. But one evening, accidentally passing by the theater, I felt that "why not". I wanted to immerse myself in the atmosphere of the city not through business meetings, but through emotions, light, music.
In search of what I could watch in the coming days, I went to a site that had already flashed in my bookmarks, but I hadn’t paid attention to it. Everything there turned out to be incredibly simple: filters by date, genre, rating, even by the duration of the performance - an ideal interface for those who have little time, but a lot of desire.
As a result, I got to see a performance that I hadn’t even heard of before — “Come From Away.” And it was magical. A small hall, amazing energy, live music. I left there as if I were a different person. And all this became possible only thanks to Theater Guide, which literally helped me navigate, choose and buy a ticket in 15 minutes.
Now, having returned home, I sometimes go there just to see what is on in New York. Even without knowing when I will get there again - but I know where to look for inspiration. Because sometimes we think that we choose the performance, but in fact - it chooses us.
